| Well i made this partly coz' i was bored... and partly coz a lot of people want to know how to make stuff on PDN.
This is going to be my bottom siggy

Water reflection and weave and emboss
You can find these on the pdn forums:

This will be the final product:
1. Take a new canvas, 500 x 100
2. Fill the background red
3. Go to Effects> Render> Weave. Use deafault settings
4. Effects> Blurs> Motion blur :MotionBlur: . Angle 25.00, Distance 200
5. Add new layer:
6. On the new layer, fill the background, but fill mode: Dark Upward Diagonal
7. Effects> Stlyize> Emboss. Angle - 37.00
8. Double-Click on Layer 2, Or press F4, Change the layer mode to: Overlay
9. Layers> Merge Layer Down, Control + M
10. Effects> Distort> Water Reflection
You should have this:
11.Add a new layer.
12. Fill the new layer with red.
13. Double-Click layer 2, or press F4 and set the blend mode to: Difference
14. Merge the layer down
15.Add a new layer.
16. On the new layer, draw a rectangle, it doesn't matter which colour. Do pixel width: 4
17. Effects> Stylize> Emboss. Angle - 37.00
18. Double-Click on layer 2, or press F4 and set the blend mode to: Overlay
19. Merge layer down
20. Add new layer
21. On the new layer, Write your text.
22. Effects> Photo> Glow. Use full settings
23. Merge layer down.
And your done! |

Here we go
Make a new canvas 500x200
First you make a random background, i chose this:
Then go to google, or any other search engine and get an image, with a white background
Then copy it, go to Paint.NET and Press Contol+Alt+V to get it into a new pic
Then use Magic wand at around 40%
Hit Delete
Do the last two steps until all the background is Checkerboard (Transparent)
Go to Effects> Object> Outline Object and Use these settings:
You should have:
Press Control+A to select all, then Press Control+C To copy, Then go to your image, Add a new layer, On the New layer, Press Contol+V to Paste (You may have to resize the image, after pasting it)
Hopefully you will have:
Add a new layer, Now Add some font:
You can also outline this font, like i did:
And You're done! |

| CC says that it's a long tutorial for something that could be done in a shorter amount of steps

| I un-stickied it because soon everyone will start making tutorials and it'll be unfair for it to be stickied whilst all other tuts aren't.
We should make a tut subforum, then it can be stickied.

| CC if you think properly, nobody will do any more tutorals. Most people here arn't even good at PDN.
The only decent people are you and Dobby. Then Boopy and Me.

Anyway, as I said before, it could be a bit shorter and still achieve the same results.
