Osgood-Schlatter's Disease

'Ello.

I have recently been feeling a pain just under the kneecap of my right leg.
I went to the school office, and they recommended that I take an X-ray.

Of course, you have to organise an appointment, however, you need permission to get one first. Permission to get one requires that you get an appointment at your local surgeon.

So, today, I went to my local surgeon. He had a look at it (my knee), and said that it was probably a disease known as 'Osgood-Schlatter's Disease'.

So, after a burn on my middle finger, a badly stubbed toe, I now most likely have a 'disease' in my right leg. I put disease in 's because I wouldn't define it as a disease, as it does no harm. It just causes a bit of pain for a few months.

Anyway, it's nothing to be worried about. I don't need long periods away from the computer, I won't be booking 50 hospital appointments an hour, I'm just getting this one x-ray, and hopefully that'll be all.

So, yes. That's my day. Big woop.

I hope so too, but it matches the symptons perfectly. Me knee hurts to straighten, and there's a hard swelling underneath my kneecap.

Let's hope it's not too bad a case, though, if it is Osgood-Shlatter's.

Yeah, comeone in my class has it, yet it's good for him...but someone else's flares up loads...

Yes, exactly like that. Currently, it hurts to touch, but (apparently) it gets better after time.
